We approach every job, no matter how big or small in the same manner with safety being paramount at all times.

The Health & Safety performance of any company is a corner stone of any company’s core values and success. At AB Access Scaffolding we not only agree with this previous statement but promote it to our staff.  A good Health & Safety performance has a positive effect on all aspects of all business.  We achieve this at AB Access by involving all Directors, Managers, Supervisors and all employees, working toward the same goal.

At AB Access Scaffolding ‘Health & Safety’ is more than just an objective, it is a priority, a commitment to think about our actions prior to commencement of works, to work and act safely on a daily basis and hence we strive to achieve the very highest safety standards whatever the environment.

We are members/participants in the following organisations which help us to promote and work towards increased safety standards throughout the industry on a daily basis; Safe T Cert, CIF, NISO, CIRI and NASAC.

We are committed to utilising best practice and continual improvement of our Health & Safety performance.  In order to achieve this one of our core principles is, ‘Health & Safety determines every decision we make and every action we take.

Jason Long – Health & Safety Advisor
Having started working within the construction industry in 1999, a variety of roles have led him to his current position as a Health & Safety professional. Having completed the Higher Diploma in Safety Health & Welfare at Work at University College Cork, and roles working within one of Irelands largest Concrete Cutting/Coring contractor, an EHS officer for one of Ireland’s biggest Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Companies.

Working in a variety of different environments from high end Pharmaceuticals to residential projects, these and continuing professional development has provided Jason with invaluable knowledge and experience of the sector.

Jason assists our site teams and personnel in maintaining and developing ‘Best Practice’ procedures as well as ensuring all safety team files are up to and above standard.
