This tower house dated back to the 14th or 15th century and is a striking structure as one goes from fota island across the bridge to the great island. Having a varied historical past, in 2016 the castle was bought, and planning approved for restoration of the castle and adaption to a private dwelling. Ahern Brothers from Youghal were appointed for the stone repair works to the full façade internal and external. AB Access took great pride in being involved in such a historic and prominent structure.
